Our family business produces seedstock Simmental, Brangus and composite bulls from a cow herd of 1000 breeders on our property near Moffatdale in the South Burnett, QLD.

An opportunity exists for a motivated, experienced and well organised Manager to join our team.

Job Description: This is a good opportunity for both experienced cattle Managers and those wishing to take that next step in their agricultural career to become part of a well-established family entity in a long term position. The role involves overseeing daily operations of the property including:

• Cattle & pasture management

• Repairs and mechanical maintenance

• Machinery operation

• Infrastructure projects and cultivation farming.

All cattle mustering is conducted with motorbikes.

​

The successful applicant must have a mature approach, solid work ethic, be reliable, capable of staff leadership with a strong passion for cattle and living on the land. 

Ideally you will have:

• 3+ years of cattle property management experience

• Experience with seedstock cattle

• Good knowledge of intensive grazing operations and pastures

• HR+ licence
