In the Pilbara region of Western Australia, Rio Tinto own an integrated portfolio of iron ore assets: a world-class, integrated network of 17 mines, four independent port terminals, a rail network spanning nearly 2,000 kilometres and related infrastructure, all designed to respond rapidly to changes in demand. They are one of the world's leading producers and exporters of iron ore and also have one of the largest Pastoral leases in the Pilbara.

Rio Tinto's iconic Pastoral Stations include Hamersley Station and Rocklea Station. Collectively, these stations stretch across approximately 770,000 hectares in the heart of Western Australia's breathtaking Pilbara Region. 

These stations are in close proximity to Tom Price and Paraburdoo respectively, nestled either side of the beautiful Karijini National Park and 3 hour drive to the coast of Karratha. The breed of cattle is Droughtmaster.
