Job Description:

  • We require an Administration Assistant to join the team at Camfield Station.

  • Camfield Station is situated in the Victoria River District, 375km southwest of Katherine and 695km south of Darwin. 

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicating across the station via Phone, Fax and UHF.

  • Complete General office administration and assist with monthly returns for accounts.

  • Coordinate with finance to process and pay timely invoices to meet budget requirements.

  • Assist managers with managing staff notice boards, weekly operational reports and documentation of performance reviews.

  • Support managers with visitors at the station including property tours and organising any special events.

  • Complete onboarding and inductions for visitors, Staff and contractors.

  • Support the regional stations with road train returns, payroll entry, occasional assistance on other regional projects/admin and supporting with invoices as required.

  • Assist with the provision of staff amenities at the station including managing the operations of the social club.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role.

  • Strong attention to detail & organisational skills.

  • Experience in managing and maintaining facilities.

  • Ability to work autonomously.

  • Team player who contributes with others on station and within the business.

  • Excellent leadership skills who displays a rational approach to problem solving.

  • Current First Aid Certificate and Blue Card.

  • Current Driver’s license.
