Job Description:

  • We require a Gardener/ Domestic to join the team at Camfield Station.

  • Camfield Station is situated in the Victoria River District, 375km southwest of Katherine and 695km south of Darwin. 

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

As the Station Gardener & Domestic, you are responsible for completing a variety of tasks, including the following:

  • Preparing nutritious meals for all staff and visitors as required.

  • Ensuring all allergies and dietary requirements are catered for.

  • Keeping a clean, hygienic kitchen and dining room at all times.

  • Maintaining and cleaning quarters, amenities, staff recreation areas, and guest quarters daily.

  • Performing general cleaning duties, including emptying rubbish, cleaning showers and toilets, dusting, and sweeping/mopping floors.

  • Maintaining fences, hedges, garden beds, and sprinklers.

  • Preparing and applying garden chemicals.

  • Feeding animals around the homestead and taking rubbish to the dump.

  • Ensuring water supply equipment is in good working condition.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Current Driver's license and motorbike license.

  • Q Fever Vaccination.

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
