Job Description:

AACo. is NOW HIRING for Season 2025!

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

Here’s the official stuff...

  • As a team member on one of our stations, farms or feedlots, no two days are the same, from mustering on horseback or motorbike, drafting and trucking cattle, to ensuring our stock are well looked after on our native pastures.


What you need to know about life on station:

  • You’ll get to have a lot of fun with social activities such as inter-station cricket competitions, camp drafts, rodeos, and charity events – as well as our annual Employee Challenge where you can put your skills to the test

  • We have onsite social clubs at all properties, and and gym/fitness facilities at some


PLEASE NOTE: These positions can be physically demanding requiring individuals to work in a variety of weather environments. Due to this, you will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical questionnaire.

AACo is committed to the health and wellbeing of our employees, and as such prior to commencement employees may be required to receive vaccinations as required to undertake their role.

Job Requirements:

  • Genuine interest in learning about the agricultural industry whilst living and working in remote locations – we have properties spread throughout QLD and the NT

  • Ability to follow instructions and apply initiative to ensure tasks are conducted in line with safe work procedures and processes

  • Skills in cattle handing, horsemanship and operating a motorbike


Experience in the above is a nice to have, not a must have, but the right attitude and willingness to learn is!
