Job Description:
We require a licenced MC Driver to join the team to transport commodities to and from our various stations.
The MC Driver will be based at Maryfield Station and Legune Station and work across multiple sites in the Kununurra and Katherine areas including Maryfield, Limbunya, Manbulloo and Legune stations.
You will be based here:
Maryfield Station: Just off the Stuart Highway with all weather, year round access, only a short drive from Daly Waters and with Katherine a few hours away to the north. Maryfield Station is located on 147,300 hectares and has 24,000 head of Brahman cattle.
Legune Station: Situated 120km NE of Kununurra, across the NT/WA border on 352,270 hectares. Legune Station runs 28,417 head of cattle, with approximately 20 staff located at the station..
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
The MC Driver will be responsible for supporting the daily operations.
The role will involve transporting commodities to and from the stations, and operating flat top trailers, side and end tippers for grain and hay cartage.
Cattle carting experience is NOT required
Job Requirements:
To be considered for this roles you must have:
Previous experience operating road trains.
Current MC drivers licence.
Heavy machinery operator: grader and dozer experience preferred
Experience performing basic maintenance on trucks and trailers.
Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
Have a commitment to safe work practices.
