Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate horse person, who loves working with horses and people. The role involves spending part of the day working with a variety of horses and part of the day helping our customers with their enquiries.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Horse Training Assistant
Handling, grooming, hoof trimming the horses and general horse husbandry
Feeding and checking water troughs
Exercising including ground work and riding guided by Angus and a prepared training schedule
Cleaning, care and maintenance of horse areas
Customer Service
Answering calls from customers
Making calls to customers, and being proactive with potential customers
Responding to customer emails
Processing orders and payments in our e-commerce platform
Resolve customer queries
Review and action draft orders
Management of our saddle pad orders from customer service, design and embroidery
Job Requirements:
A willingness to learn
Experience working with horses
A clear communicator with great interpersonal skills
The ability to use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, with a willingness to learn our e-commerce software and other programming software
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
A team player with a growth mindset
