Job Description:

Do you have a strong background in cattle and feedlot operations? Are you looking for a leadership role where you can make a real impact on animal performance and efficiency?


We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Feeding Manager to oversee the daily feeding operations at our Myola feedlot - based in Croppa Creek NSW, ensuring cattle receive optimal nutrition while leading a dedicated team.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing feeding operations, ensuring cattle receive the right rations for peak performance.

  • Leading and training feeding teams, fostering a strong work ethic and efficiency.

  • Monitoring cattle health and behaviour, making real-time adjustments as needed.

  • Optimising feeding schedules to improve weight gain and feed conversion.

  • Coordinating with suppliers, nutritionists, and management to ensure feed quality and availability.

  • Maintaining accurate records of feed inventory, consumption, and compliance standards.

  • Problem-solving operational challenges with a proactive and hands-on approach.

Job Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in feedlot or large-scale cattle operations.
✔ Proven strong leadership and communication skills to work across all levels.
✔ Ability to prioritise, multitask, and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail in feeding schedules, cattle health, and data tracking.
Solid understanding of cattle behaviour, nutrition, and production performance.
