Job Description:
We are a growing Livestock supplement company, providing high-quality products as a preferred supplier to national supply companies like Nutrien and Elders.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior National Sales Representative to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in agriculture or animal health to launch their career in sales.
As a junior role, previous sales experience is not required, but we are looking for someone with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with our clients.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
This is a long-term position for an individual who is willing and able to travel regularly to meet clients across Australia. You will be provided with comprehensive training, including valuable tips and mentorship from an expert with over 30 years of industry experience and strong relationships in the field.
Travel across Australia to meet with stores and provide promotional materials and product information.
Build and nurture strong relationships with store managers, suppliers, and clients in the agriculture and animal health sectors.
Address customer needs, concerns, and feedback, and report back to head office for ongoing support and improvement.
Work closely with head office and benefit from in-depth training and mentorship to help you develop your sales skills and industry knowledge.
Help promote and educate clients about our products, ensuring they are used effectively in the market.
Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and network with key stakeholders.
Track customer interactions, sales activities, and market trends, and provide regular reports on progress.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
Background or experience in agriculture or animal health is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the sales and agricultural industry.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively while traveling.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to achieving goals.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment in a close-knit company.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or business development is a plus but not required.
Background in Agricultural Industry is highly desireable
Ability to travel regularly, as this role requires consistent nationwide travel to meet clients.
