Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Initially as the Weighbridge Supervisor you will have a varying day including:
Responsible for commodity, cattle & manure receivals and exits from the Feedlot.
Ensure that commodity contractual obligations are met with growers & suppliers
Testing of grain & hay/straw on arrival
Scheduling of grain deliveries
Ensure compliance of Chain of Responsibility legislation is adhered to
Supervise the traffic flow movement
Responsible for the monthly stocktake of commodities
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the weighbridge, grain pit and silo areas on a daily basis
Moving into the Commodity Manager role within a 6month period your role will include:
In addition to the responsibilities listed above
Purchasing of Commodities
Commodity Scheduling & Reconciliation
Liaising with commodity customers
Reporting to the General Manager & Finance and Commercial Manager
Job Requirements:

Previous weighbridge experience would be highly regarded
