Farmbots core focus is in water for Livestock and has high adoption in cattle and sheep grazing activities across the state. It is now expanding its core water monitoring offering to a range of its own and other third-party technology, including sensors for Rainfall, Flow, Pressure, Cameras, Pump Control, Trough monitors and more.

The company’s Software platform gathers data from its on-farm monitors and converts it to actionable insights that inform better Farm Management decisions and actively engages the customer for better asset and resource utilisation.

Job Description:

  • Farmbot Monitoring Solutions are currently seeking a National Key Accounts Manager, ideally located in regional NT or QLD, however other locations may be considered.

  • The purpose of your role is to build and nurture strong relationships with key corporate stakeholders, including CEOs, association leaders, business owners, and regional managers. Your ability to understand their needs and deliver exceptional value will be pivotal in maintaining our reputation for excellence. Engage deeply with senior decision-makers, forging lasting connections and securing high-value, long-term, repeatable sales.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients

  • Renewing contracts for ongoing sales

  • Representing the company as a brand ambassador at industry and client events

  • Hands-on, customer facing role to establish productive and professional relationships with customers.

  • Partner with senior staff to ensure customer needs are understood and expectations are aligned with delivery capacity.

  • Present product development opportunities inspired by client feedback or market insights that could benefit multiple customers.

  • Achieve monthly sales targets.

  • Sales Forecasting

Job Requirements:

  • A well-presented, articulate communicator with outstanding negotiation and leadership skills. • Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability, and excellent communication skills.

  • Known and with network in the Australian Cattle / Sheep / Ag Industry

  • Time management skills

  • Strong client presentation delivery and demonstration skills

  • Ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs. • Proven account management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.


Desirable experience and skills:

  • Previous experience in managing large key accounts and winning new customers/projects in the Agriculture industry

  • Strong industry knowledge, specifically within livestock

  • Remuneration depends on experience, but will be base plus commission
