Job Description:

  • We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Feeding Facility Hand. 

  • You will play a crucial role in the day to day operations of the Feeding Facility. 

  • As a Feeding Facility hand your focus will be on promoting the health, safety and welfare of the cattle, the team and environment.

  • This award-winning feeding facility, situated in the Darling Downs region spans approximately 400 hectares and is home to 9,000 cattle.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handling and monitoring livestock using calm low stress methods

  • Data input and record keeping

  • Assisting with mustering and cattle movements

  • Water trough and feed bunk cleaning and maintenance

  • Preparing and mixing feed rations

  • Assist with land management practices

  • General upkeep, repairs and maintenance

  • Minor machinery operation

  • Maintain a clean and tidy workplace

Job Requirements:
