Are you excited by the idea of living and working on a cattle station in a remote, picturesque location? We have the perfect opportunity for you!
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head Stockperson to join our progressive team at Springvale Station.
You will play a key role in facilitating and leading livestock activities across the Springvale Station aggregation as part of WA’s largest vertically integrated beef business.n.

Located in the Kimberley, Springvale Station is a 605,000ha aggregation located 70km north of Halls Creek on the boundary of the scenic Purnululu National Park. The station is a breeding property, transitioning a herd from Brahman to Ultrablack genetics supplying quality weaners to Harvest Road’s backgrounding properties in the Gascoyne and Pilbara of Western Australia. Springvale Station is the start of Harvest Road’s vertically integrated supply chain, which covers breeding, backgrounding, feeding and processing.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be an essential component in returning a once renowned station back into a productive, profitable and sustainable business, gaining exposure to developing herd genetics, infrastructure improvements, and land regeneration.
Job Requirements:
Strong focus on safety and animal welfare.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Proficient in handling both horses and bikes, and willing to help develop a strong horse culture
High attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
Base mechanical knowledge.
Initiative and Problem-solving skills.
Motivated and hard-working, willing to be part of, and foster a great station culture.
Current driver’s licence, truck license highly regarded.
Pass a National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical assessment
Possess sufficient fitness level to carry out required tasks
