Caldervale Station is 80km east of Tambo on the Great Dividing Range, QLD. The Caldervale/ Mount Lindsay aggregation is 426,000 acres and runs a wagyu breeder and backgrounding herd.

Job Description:

  • We are seeking an Overseer / Experienced Stockman at Georgina Pastoral Company's Caldervale/ Mount Lindsay Aggregation.

  • The position is based at Mount Lindsay however a significant amount of time is spent working with the team at Caldervale.

  • Please note this is not a caretaking role, we are seeking someone with a proactive approach to handling cattle and making improvements to the aggregation.

  • Full time / casual work for partner a possibility.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Most days are filled with cattle work however when time permits, we undertake fencing projects, water upgrades, and other associated tasks.

Job Requirements:

  • This role will suit an experienced Stockman or someone with experience in a similar role. 

  • Working with cattle experience is essential

  • Fencing experience is essential

  • Ideally machinery operation skills and experience, i.e. Grader/ Loader/ Bull Dozer

  • Ideally HR truck licence

  • Ideally experience working with small motors/ solar pumps re bore runs.

  • Fit, tidy habits, organised and excellent communication

  • Willing to take instruction and work within the existing team

  • A clean drivers licence.
