Lord Pastoral's Woodstock Station is made up of 550,000 acres of forest country & 3 river systems throughout. The station runs approximately 8-9,000 breeders with all younger stock sent to southern stations. Woodstock has recently been through significant development with much more planned in the next few years. The business has a strong regenerative ag approach and LSS approach with handling of livestock.
Located 220km NW of Richmond and 180km SE of Croydon in the lower gulf with nearly full bitumen access.

Job Description:
Due to internal shuffling of positions between the stations, a great opportunity to join Lord Pastoral Cattle in the role of Overseer on our family owned & operated Woodstock Station has now opened.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Weekly meetings using a shared calendar to prioritize weekly / monthly jobs with owner who lives on a nearby station.
Leading, organizing and motivating a team of 3 to 4 people and up to 12 at certain times of the year along with contractors and service providers from time to time
You’ll play an integral role in managing the daily station operations, maintaining a safe place of work, training and supervising staff, maintaining records and reporting with a particular focus on water mechanics & development.
Job Requirements:
Highly effective communication skills
Well-developed livestock handling and husbandry skills
Commitment to high standards of animal welfare
Practical knowledge of general property infrastructure and water systems, particularly with solar & submersibles.
Highly competent in all aspects of mechanics. Troubleshooting of plant & equipment
Good knowledge of development ie fencing, yard & shed building etc
Knowledge and interest in grazing and pasture management
Ability to effectively lead a team and provide training and mentoring
Solid understanding of Work, Health & Safety and commitment to managing a safe place of work
Ability to accurately record and report data using company systems
Sound computer skills
Experience managing capital expenditure projects an advantage
