Job Description:

  • We are currently seeking a Station Manager to lead the team at Lyndavale Cattle Company on Mt Ebenezer and Lyndavale Station in Central Australia, NT. The stations are approximately 3 hours south west of Alice Springs.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities of the position will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Cattle work

  • Managing staff

  • Planning daily and weekly staff movements

  • Bore runs

  • General property and machinery maintenance

  • Maintaining fences

  • Maintaining a tidy homestead and workplace


PLEASE NOTE HORSES ARE NOT USED FOR MUSTERING

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar leadership role or willing to step into one - people management skills essential!

  • Must be able to commit to an entire year at a minimum (this is a permanent position)

  • Manual driver’s licence

  • MC Licence

  • Mechanical and welding skills

  • Must have initiative and be able to work independently

  • Applicants must be flexible, honest and tidy.
