MDH operates several cattle stations throughout Queensland, and a backgrounding feedlot operation, 'Wallumba', on The Western Downs in Southern Queensland. The operation spans approximately 20,000 acres and carries approximately 15,000 cattle.

Job Description:
A great opportunity is available for a Mechanical/ Maintenance Technician at the well-established Wallumba Feedlot and background property based on the Western Downs, Queensland.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintenance on plant and machinery
Metal fabrication- mechanics and yard repairs
Contribute to the maintenance and tidiness of the workshop
Conduct operations following safety procedures and policies
Job Requirements:
Previous mechanical and metal fabrication experience desired
Hands on attitude to the role and be prepared to work across various tasks from workshop to feedlot maintenance
Working and supporting a safety workplace culture
Ability to work independently as well as cohesively within a team environment
Driver’s licence
Q fever vaccinated or willing to be
