Job Description:

  • MDH PTY LTD are recruiting for experienced Livestock/ Farming General Hand. 

  • These roles are long term with a 10/4 roster. 

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the day-to-dayoperations, including general cattlehandling, drafting, cutting out, penriding, trucking, and moving cattle.

  • Diagnosing animal health with anemphasis on animal welfare,administration of the animal healthtreatments, and maintaining accuratedaily records. 

  • You will also be requiredto muster backgrounding paddocks.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven horsemanship skills –TWO horses and required tack /gear.

  • Excellent cattle handling skills – Previous feedlot experience is REQUIRED.

  • A strong commitment to animalwelfare.

  • You are Q-Fever vaccinated orwilling to be.

  •  Your own transport and driver’slicense.
