Job Description:

A unique opportunity for experienced Station Hands/Ringers to work at Rio Tinto's iconic Pastoral Stations: Hamersley Station and Rocklea Station.


These stations are in close proximity to Tom Price and Paraburdoo, nestled either side of the beautiful Karijini National Park and 3 hour drive to the coast of Karratha. Breed of cattle is Droughtmaster.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

What you will be doing:

  • Participate in the mustering and processing of livestock by vehicle and motorbike

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of farm infrastructure, including fencing, gates and water troughs, to ensure they are in good working condition

  • Operate and maintain machinery and equipment safely for various tasks including land management and animal transportation

Job Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience within the Cattle & Pastoral Industry

  • Demonstrated experience in mustering and processing cattle

  • Sound knowledge and skills relating to vehicle, plant, fencing, water points

  • Demonstrated previous experience operating 4WD's and Motorbikes

  • Desirable but not essential - experience operating Trucks, Loaders, Bobcat, Forklift

  • Current manual drivers license

  • Able to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical including drug and alcohol testing
