Job Description:
We are seeking a Farm/ Station Hand for Glenstrae Station, a large-scale, picturesque grazing property in the Petherick district of SA (approx. 35 minutes to Keith, 50 minutes to Kingston SE), currently running approx. 6,500 merino ewes and 300 head of Angus cattle.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
The candidate needs to be a reliable, motivated and hardworking individual to assist with the daily operations of the property including:
All aspects of sheep and cattle husbandry
Water, fencing and yard maintenance
Tractor/machinery/motorbike operation & maintenance
Job Requirements:
Reporting to the property Manager the successful applicant must be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
A current drivers licence is essential.
Own working dogs and mechanical/welding skills are an advantage.
Job Benefits:
A competitive remuneration package including 2-bed house (on-farm) and power will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
