Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced and dedicated couple to join our team as Managers of Moolooloo Station.

  • The successful candidates will bring strong leadership skills, extensive hands-on experience with livestock, and a deep understanding of cattle management practices. Importantly, they will share our vision for excellence and a safe and prosperous working environment. 

  • With support from the rest of the team, they will have financial responsibility for the property as well as contribute to strategic planning at a Company level.


Moolooloo Station is an outstanding property of approximately 2000km2 with 8,000 breeders and a total herd exceeding 20,000 head. With its reliable rainfall and an abundance of natural waters, together with some of the finest country in the Victoria River District in the Northern Territory, Moolooloo has a reputation for excellent cattle and a history of exceptional performance.


Moolooloo Station’s long history as part of the Victoria River Downs pastoral lease continues as an integral part of our family-owned Company, and offers a unique and rewarding environment to live and develop an exciting career in our great industry.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performance team that embrace our vision and share our values.

  • Plan and manage the station's operational budget, ensuring efficient financial performance

  • Plan and oversee livestock programs, striving for excellent productivity and continuing to improve and develop the herd

  • Manage and execute plans to manage and improve the asset through capital development projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated industry management experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position

  • Strong understanding of cattle husbandry, livestock welfare, and sustainable land management practices.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.

  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills, together with strong financial acumen.
