We are seeking an experienced Station Manager (or management couple) to manage the Minderoo Aggregation, and play a pivotal role in delivering the Harvest Road Agribusiness strategy.
The Minderoo Aggregation encompasses four pastoral leases - Minderoo, Urala, Uaroo and Nanutarra across 760,000ha, with diverse landscapes stretching from Pilbara mesa ranges to 180km of productive river frontage through to the picturesque Exmouth Gulf coastline.
Situated at the centre of Harvest Road's vertically integrated supply chain - an operation covering 2.7 million hectares of breeding, backgrounding, feeding and processing - Minderoo plays a diverse and strategic role. Currently transitioning from a breeding to backgrounding focus, the aggregation is also home to Harvest Road's composite bull breeding herd, horse breeding program and irrigated fodder production.
This role calls for a manager with a strong operational foundation, along with the experience and drive to manage the business strategically - through monitoring and delivering key production metrics, advancing sustainable land management, developing and mentoring staff, driving genetic progress and overseeing holistic business performance.
Proven management and leadership experience in Northern Australia's beef industry, with an open mindset to adopting new approaches and technologies.
A Strong focus on animal production metrics and welfare, with an interest in driving genetic improvement across northern herds.
A practical understanding of RCS grazing for profit and Bush Agribusiness principles to promote a sustainable business and land asset. Exposure to courses offered by the MLA EDGE network provide a great advantage.
The ability to organise, lead and inspire a high-performing team with a focus on safety, wellbeing and productivity.
A willingness to develop and maintain a strong horse culture.
