BJA Stock and Station Agents are a vibrant Stock and Station Agency in Northern NSW. Although we are based in Inverell and Moree; we consider eastern Australia our back yard. We have a dedicated and experienced team that is energetic, efficient and client focussed.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drafting in yards (on foot) of cattle, sheep and goat in preparation for multiple markets such as feedlots, abattoirs and Auctions Plus.

  • Livestock and property inspections, taking images of livestock to send through to the office.

  • Assisting in Auctions Plus assessments and marketing (whilst achieving on site training).

  • Assisting at Stud Livestock Sale.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in livestock handling (cattle, sheep & goats).

  • Understanding of the Livestock Industry and an ability to work with producers, feedlotters and processors alike.

  • Have a good work ethic, with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent time management and communication skills and basic computer literacy.

  • Current Drivers licence
