We currently have multiple immediate start, full time Station Hand roles available at Limbunya Station & Maryfield Station, NT
Limbunya Station: Situated approximately 650km south west of Katherine, just 100km from the Western Australian border. The station has 521,883 hectares and a herd of 32,210 head of cattle.
The Station Hand will carry out general station activities to support the daily operations of the cattle station. Duties will include:
Carrying out all day-to-day activities requested in a safe and efficient manner and following all site safety rules and strict animal welfare standards.
Cattle handling, mustering cattle using motorbikes and horses.
Capturing & collating accurate livestock data crush side
Feeding of livestock.
General cleaning and maintenance of water troughs, yards and fences.
General cleaning and maintenance of water troughs, yards and fences.
2 or 3 years experience on a cattle station or livestock farm work.
Low stress livestock handling skills and commitment to sound animal welfare practices.
Experience operating a loader and tractor essential.
Basic computer skills.
Current drivers licence.
Immediate start for the successful applicant.
