Berrimah Export Yard is looking for a motivated individual to step in and join the team as a Stockperson.
Located just 10 minutes from Darwin’s CBD.
Holding 4,000 head
Fully covered livestock facility making it a luxury to work in during all seasons
This role requires you to assist the manager and overseer to help achieve the tasks ahead at the facility
Assist in all livestock handling tasks such as - drafting, processing, dipping, unloading and loading of trucks
Feeding Cattle (new John deer tractor and feed wagon)
Monitoring waters and making sure livestock have clean and fresh waters at all times.
Pen Cleaning (telescopic loader and tipper truck)
Have a strong understanding of animal welfare and industry standards
Assist in all aspects of property maintenance
One year livestock experience at minimum
Self motivated
Understands this is not a 9-5 job and won’t be afraid to work any hours of the day or nights when required
At minimum holds MR Licence
Able to work in a team environment and on own also
Responsible
