This position is for an individual or couple, as we also have a MACHINERY OPERATOR role on offer.
Lyndavale Cattle Co is a family owned and operated business, producing organic beef across three cattle stations in Central Australia, approximately 270km south west of Alice Springs, NT. We are a small, family orientated team and value people who have a good work ethic and are keen to learn. We pride ourselves in producing quiet, quality cattle.
Main responsibilities of the position will include, but will not be limited to:
Cattle work/ mustering and yard work (previous experience with livestock is preferred but not essential) - We do not use horses for mustering, bikes are used.
Bore runs
General property maintenance
Maintaining fences
Keeping workshop and homestead tidy and orderly
Manual driver’s licence
Mechanical and welding skills desirable but not essential
Must have initiative and be able to work independently
Applicants must be flexible, honest and tidy.
Remuneration will be based on experience.
Includes meals and accommodation with kitchen facilities, work vehicle, internet and utilities.
