This position is for an individual or couple, as we also have a STATION HAND role on offer.
Lyndavale Cattle Co is a family owned and operated business, producing organic beef across three cattle stations in Central Australia, approximately 270km south west of Alice Springs, NT. We are a small, family orientated team and value people who have a good work ethic and are keen to learn. We pride ourselves in producing quiet, quality cattle.
If you take pride in well maintained roads and infrastructure, and want to be part of a cattle operation, this could be the role for you!
Main responsibilities of the position will include, but will not be limited to:
Operating a grader to construct and maintain station roads
Doing rehabilitation works such as ripping, ponding banks and check banks
Operating a loader, telehandler and skid steer
General machinery maintenance
Keeping workshop and living areas clean and orderly
Ability to operate a grader and other heavy machinery
Mechanical and welding skills
Must have initiative and be able to work independently
HC or MC licence
Remuneration will be based on experience.
Includes meals and accommodation with kitchen facilities, work vehicle, internet and utilities.
