A station hand opportunity is available within a family-owned and operated enterprise, located in the Douglas Daly district, approximately two hours south of Darwin, Northern Territory.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting all aspects of farm operations.
'Bonalbo' situated in the Douglas Daly district, 250km south of Darwin, NT.
'Bonalbo' is a fattening property, running approximately 4,500hd of predominantly brahman cattle supplying the live export market.
Assisting with cattle mustering and processing - mustering is done on bikes.
Operating farm machinery
Carrying out routine property upkeep, such as maintaining the yard and lawns
This position is well-suited to individuals seeking a career in agriculture.
While prior experience is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.
Experience with riding a 2 wheel motorbike whilst mustering preferred.
A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a small team are essential qualities for this role.
Requirements
Current Driver’s licence is required
Truck licence is considered an advantage
An air-conditioned cottage set within established gardens is available, suitable for an individual, couple, or family.
