As a station hand you will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the station working alongside managers and owners.
The positions being offered are for full-time station hands (ideally both parties would work if a couple) on several of our properties.

Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Mustering, the inspection and report of livestock and pasture conditions, animal health, welfare and treatment
Drafting, loading and unloading trucks, data collection, natural and AI breeding programs
The movement of livestock from paddocks to yards, fencing, water management
The operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment as necessary
Servicing and maintenance of vehicles and other general duties.
Tasks will likely vary depending on the property at which you are situated given some properties have more of an onus on breeding or backgrounding.

While previous experience is welcomed, it is not essential.
The successful candidate will receive: -

single persons: - comfortable accommodation consisting of single-person quarters with air conditioning, ensuite facilities and a shared kitchen/lounge area;
couples: - self-contained homes (three-to-four-bedroom home with two bathrooms and a fenced house yard – personal animals/pets will be at the discretion of owners/managers);
utilities include internet, power and water;
quality meat supply; and
shed space for personal vehicles.
Please note, pig dogs and working dogs are not permitted and there are no facilities available to single persons for pets.
