Blina Station - located 150km east of Derby - is offering a fantastic opportunity with two roles available for the 2026 season: Boreman (Truck Driver) and Station Cook. These roles may suit a single applicant or a couple wanting to live and work on an iconic and well-run cattle station.

Blina Station runs approximately 20,000 Brahman cattle across 1,000,000 acres in the West Kimberley. The station lies between the Great Northern Highway and the Gibb River Road and is known for being well maintained, well managed and a great place to live and work.
BORE RUNNER: Full-time, early April start preferred, however immediate start available. This role is responsible for checking, maintaining and managing the station's extensive stock watering points and assisting with general station maintenance.
Duties include:
Checking, monitoring and maintaining bores, troughs, tanks and pipelines
Working with modern solar pumping systems and Farmbot remote monitoring
Reporting regularly to the Station Manager
Delivering supplement in bulk bags using a tray-back truck fitted with Hiab crane
Carting cattle inter-station only
Picking up parts/supplies from Derby and Broome as required
Assisting with plant, vehicle and station equipment maintenance
Supporting general station work where needed
STATION COOK: April-November, 2026 season. The Station Cook will prepare healthy, tasty meals for 10-15 people on working days and manage the homestead kitchen.
Duties include:
Preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner and smoko
Meal planning and kitchen organisation
Maintaining a clean, well-run, commercial-style kitchen
Liaising with staff regarding dietary needs and work schedules
The kitchen is fully equipped, comfortable to work in, and located centrally within the homestead complex.
BORE RUNNER:
HC truck licence (essential)
Mechanically minded or practical skillset highly regarded
Experience in farming, machinery, or remote work is an advantage
On-station training provided for water systems and equipment
COOK:
Loves cooking!
Clean and tidy kitchen habits
Experience cooking on a station preferred
Comfortable on-station accommodation (single or couple)
All meals and utilities
Starlink internet around the homestead
Vehicle and tools for Boreman role
