This position is for a skilled and motivated grader driver to join our team at both Mutton Hole Station, near Normanton, and Oakland Park Station, near Croydon, in Queensland.
This role will initially be for a fixed term for the 2026 dry season.
You will be working across Mutton Hole Station, near Normanton, and Oakland Park Station, near Croydon, in Queensland.
Operate the grader to maintain and repair station roads to ensure they are safe and accessible for daily operations
Maintain firebreaks around boundary and internal fences
Implement erosion control measures
Carry out basic grader maintenance as required
Demonstrate a commitment to Safety, Environmental and Equal Opportunity objectives, ensuring a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace
Contribute to a positive and productive working environment by being respectful, precise, diligent, honest, and ethical
Current manual driver’s licence (truck licence desirable but not essential)
Previous experience operating a grader for road maintenance
Ability to complete repetitive tasks for the duration of each shift
Physically fit and resilient to meet the demands of grader operation, including climbing in and out of machinery and sitting for extended periods
Basic mechanical skills for equipment and machinery repairs
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible, reliable, and available to work variable hours, including potential weekend work
