Grader Driver | 2026 | Oakland Park & Mutton Hole | QLD

This position is for a skilled and motivated grader driver to join our team at both Mutton Hole Station, near Normanton, and Oakland Park Station, near Croydon, in Queensland.

This role will initially be for a fixed term for the 2026 dry season.

You will be working across Mutton Hole Station, near Normanton, and Oakland Park Station, near Croydon, in Queensland.

• Operate the grader to maintain and repair station roads to ensure they are safe and accessible for daily operations

• Maintain firebreaks around boundary and internal fences

• Implement erosion control measures

• Carry out basic grader maintenance as required

• Demonstrate a commitment to Safety, Environmental and Equal Opportunity objectives, ensuring a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace

• Contribute to a positive and productive working environment by being respectful, precise, diligent, honest, and ethical

• Current manual driver’s licence (truck licence desirable but not essential)

• Previous experience operating a grader for road maintenance

• Ability to complete repetitive tasks for the duration of each shift

• Physically fit and resilient to meet the demands of grader operation, including climbing in and out of machinery and sitting for extended periods

• Basic mechanical skills for equipment and machinery repairs

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexible, reliable, and available to work variable hours, including potential weekend work

• Wage dependent on skills and prior experience
