This position is for Jackaroo Station Hand and/or Machinery/Maintenance operator to assist the manager at our property, Springfield Station, a large breeding enterprise approximately 40km from Mount Surprise, Queensland.

68,500 Ha beef cattle station situated in Far North Queensland. Centrally situated only 30 min from Mount Surprise, 2hrs 45 min from Atherton, 4 hrs from Charters Towers, 5hrs from Townsville.
An abundance of natural water holes makes for plenty to do on your days off!
Pay above ward wage, package based on experience. Jobs and position description able to be tailored pending successful applicants.
Station Hands:
Assist with mustering & processing of cattle
Fixing and maintaining fences
General station duties
Feeding lick and animal supplements with a Hiab
Infrastructure/water repairs and maintenance
Maintenance and Machinery Operator:
Assist with maintenance and servicing of all station vehicles/machines and equipment
Maintenance of roads, clearing for weed control and fences
Machinery driving highly adventageous (Loader and grader)
Previous station experience
Clean and tidy habits
Common sense with attention to detail
Friendly, honest and good work ethic are a must!
