Work closely with the Station/Property Manager to prioritise workload, resources, and shift priorities to meet operational deadlines.
Manage and work with livestock (cattle), including yard work, movements, and animal husbandry duties.
Assist with reproductive programs including AI, IVF and embryo transfer (training available where required).
Accurate record keeping using livestock systems to record movements, weights, treatments and related data.
Support paddock rotations and pasture management activities.
General farm duties including fencing, water runs, general maintenance and labouring.
Operate and perform tasks with farm machinery and carry out routine checks and maintenance.
Use of agricultural chemicals in accordance with labels, SDS requirements and safe work practices.
Adhere to company protocols including animal health, workplace health and safety, and federal/state regulations.
Display effective communication, organisation, and teamwork skills. (If you love office chairs, this isn’t it.)
Current driver’s licence (HR licence preferred).
Demonstrated experience in livestock handling (cattle) and farm operations.
A sound knowledge and understanding of agricultural chemical handling and use (or willingness to be trained and comply).
Basic machinery experience (preferred but not essential).
Ability to work unsupervised, show initiative, and be part of a dynamic team.
High attention to detail, reliability, and pride in work.
Physically fit and enjoy working outdoors.
Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute to a safe workplace.
