We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cattle Station Overseer to lead day-today operations on our property located in the Pilbara region.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong livestock management skills, excellent people management, and the ability to run a station efficiently and safely.
Maroonah Station is located in the Upper Gascoyne/ Pilbara Region of WA, comprising over 300,000ha.
Oversee all aspects of station operations, including cattle management, mustering, animal welfare, and property maintenance
Lead, train, and support a small team of station staff
Plan and manage seasonal programs, including mustering schedules, fencing, water points, and infrastructure upkeep
Maintain accurate livestock and operational records
Ensure safe work practices and compliance with relevant regulations
Demonstrated experience managing or assisting in the management of a cattle station
Strong knowledge of northern Australian beef production systems
Competent in bike work, low-stress stock handling, and remote area operations
Solid leadership and communication skills
Practical mechanical, fencing, and general maintenance abilities
Ability to work independently and problem-solve under pressure
Valid driver’s licence, competency with machinery and equipment desirable
