We’re on the lookout for someone who knows their way around tools, machinery, and livestock — someone who can see what needs doing, fix it properly, and keep things running smoothly. If you’ve got a trade background or solid practical skills, this job’s for you. This is a hands-on job with plenty of variety. One day you’ll be working on machinery or water systems, the next you’ll be cleaning feedlot pens or planning projects around the grazing property. We need someone who can think ahead, stay organised, and get the job done without being chased.

Love the bush, mechanics, welding, solars, windmills, operating machinery, fencing, general repairs and working with people and cattle? Looking for a long term Station Hand (3 year development, trainee would be considered) with extra focus on the above tasks/ areas. We are willing to train up someone as long as you are committed for at least 3 years and also have some skills and interest in these areas.

The Group presently has an opportunity for a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitter / Mechanic to join the team at Tipperary Station, one of Australia’s renowned cattle stations, only two hours’ drive from Darwin. In this role, you will be required to carry out a variety of mechanical repairs and services to a wide range of mobile plant and equipment.

Stations include: NT – Inverway/Riveren & Lake Nash Stations Qld – Tierawoomba, Tumbar, Keeroongooloo, Caldervale, Miranda Downs and Taylors Plains.   Positions with us include the following: Head Stockperson (min 2 years experience) Manager/ Assistant Manager Station Hand/Stock Hand Bore Runner/Bore Mechanic Grader Driver/ Operator Cook (Station and Camp) Homestead Maintenance Pilot (Rotary only, no fixed wing) Mechanic Governess **These are permanent positions and not available to Working Holiday Visa Holders.**
