Smithfield operates two 20,000 head feedlots, at Proston and Goondiwindi, along with various grazing and farming operations. We’ve been in the Australian beef industry for almost 100 years and a specialist lot feeder for nearly 40 years.

Smithfield are currently seeking an experienced  Livestock Hand/ Pen Rider  at our Smithfield Feedlot near Proston. Someone who has a genuine interest in the Feedlot industry and is willing to commit to our mission of producing top-quality beef for our customers.  You will be joining a team responsible for the daily welfare and husbandry of the cattle in our care. Proston is located 280 kilometres north-west of Brisbane.
