Stockperson | Lemontree Feedlot | QLD

Join the team at Lemontree Feedlot as a full time Stockperson based in Millmerran, QLD.

In this hands-on role, you will be an integral part of the farm operations, responsible for the care and welfare of livestock. With a focus on animal health and productivity, you will contribute to the overall success of the feedlot.

McNamee Partners operates Lemontree Feedlot, a modern 20,000 head beef feedlot at Millmerran, one hour south of Toowoomba, QLD, a location chosen for its strategic proximity to major abattoirs and markets.

• Providing daily care and monitoring the health and welfare of livestock

• Cattle receiving, Induction, drafting and processing

• Identifying and treating any health issues or injuries in the livestock

• Maintaining detailed records on animal health, productivity, and any treatments administered

• Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations

• Proven experience as a Stockperson or in a similar farm labour role

• Strong animal husbandry skills and knowledge of livestock health and welfare

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve farm objectives

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required

• Knowledge of FY3000 would be advantageous

• Capable horse riders and having own horse is preferred
