MC Truck Driver (Cattle) | Winton | QLD

• MR Cattle Transport, a family-owned cattle transport business based in Winton, QLD, is seeking a MC Cattle Truck Driver.

• We are looking for a candidate with a Current Multi-Combination (MC) Driver’s License, preferably with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• As a Livestock Operator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our cattle transport and livestock handling business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small family based company in the agricultural industry.

You will be based in the Winton region with work throughout Queensland.

• Safely loading, unloading, and transporting livestock using specialised equipment and vehicles

• Monitoring the health and welfare of livestock during transportation

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to livestock movements

• Assisting with the general maintenance and upkeep of our transport vehicles and equipment

• Adhering to all relevant safety and compliance regulations in the handling and transport of livestock

• Collaborating with the farm team to ensure the efficient and seamless movement of livestock

• Relevant experience in the livestock or agricultural industry, preferably in a livestock handling or transport role.

• Proficiency in operating specialised livestock handling equipment and vehicles

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

• A commitment to animal welfare and the safe handling of livestock

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A valid driver's licence and the ability to obtain any necessary permits or licences for the role

• The successful candidate must be able to work across a 7-day period, including weekends.

• Experience in Side Tipper and General freight work is desirable.
