Cavanaghs Transport is an industry-leading livestock carrier, with depots based in Tamworth, Dubbo and Inverell NSW. Our fleet of 30 prime mover and trailer combinations is maintained to the highest standard. 

We're on the lookout for drivers who love agriculture, trucks, and the open road just as much as we do. Whether you're already an experienced MC driver or an HC driver ready to upgrade, this is a genuine long-haul livestock role — consistent kilometres, real cattle and sheep, and the kind of driving that actually means something.

Our depot's are based in Tamworth, Dubbo, Wagga Wagga, Cooma and Inverell NSW; with work throughout Australia. We're flexible on driver location too — happy to consider drivers based throughout NSW and QLD.

You'll be behind the wheel of well-maintained B-Doubles and Road Trains, carting livestock across some of the best country in Australia. If you love the land, animals, and running quality gear, this is the job.

• Consistent kilometres across the Eastern seaboard — you'll get to see the countryside
• Hands-on livestock handling — cattle and sheep, done properly, with animal welfare front and centre
• Part of a solid team who know their trucks and know their stock
• Daily pre-start checks, with any issues sorted by our own accredited maintenance crew
• Straightforward paperwork — job records and your daily work diary kept clear and accurate
• Pride in your gear — keeping the prime mover and trailers clean and tidy
• Run to our CoR, WHS, speed, fatigue and maintenance systems 

Essential

• MC licence — or HC licence with the drive to upgrade (we'll help get you there)
• You're straightforward and respectful with the people you work with

Nice to have, not deal-breakers

• Basic Fatigue Management Certificate
• You've carted or handled cattle and sheep before — or you're keen to learn
• NSW Livestock Loading Certification
• You've run convertible livestock trailers and B-Doubles before
