Mustering on motorbikes
Yard work.
Water runs, trough cleaning, repairing leaking pipes and pumps
General property maintenance - basic mechanics, fencing
Operating machinery – skid steer, tractor
Adhere to the guidance of the station management staff.
Strong focus on safety and animal welfare.
Manual driver’s license.
Able to ride a bike.
Motivated and hard-working.
Willingness to be part of a small versatile team.
Pass a National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical assessment.
Possess sufficient fitness level to carry out required tasks.
Employment opportunities are also available for your partner in either the farming, livestock or administration sectors of the business.
Accommodation and some meals (meat provided), Smoko and lunch are generally provided each working day.

Corfield Downs Pastoral is a 60,000 ha beef cattle property located in Central Western QLD 100km north of Winton.
Cattle are grazed on native pastures with Mitchel grass and Flinders grass being the more prominent species. In conjunction with the native pastures we currently farm 2,800ha of forage sorghum for grazing and have plans to expand this to 4,000ha over the next 12 months.
We are also considering options of legumes such as lab lab and other cash crops in the likes of grain sorghum and chickpeas.
