CERES TAG is looking for motivated Area Sales Managers – Regional Australia who are early in their career and ready to learn, grow, and make a genuine impact working face-to-face with the livestock industry.

This is a field-based, people-focused role where you’ll spend your time, at field days, and alongside producers, retailers, distributors, livestock industry groups, cattle breed societies, and agtech partners. You’ll demonstrate CERES TAG’s satellite-enabled sustainable animal health intelligence and performance solutions, build strong regional relationships, and take ownership of clear revenue targets—supported every step of the way.

With structured training, mentoring, and ongoing support, this role is designed to help you develop commercial confidence, build a sales pipeline, and turn customer conversations into long-term partnerships. You’ll play a key role in supporting customers to unlock maximum value from their adoption of the CERES TAG platform, while being rewarded with a competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives, uncapped earning potential linked to subscriptions and growth, company-provided sales tools and marketing support, and clear pathways for career progression as CERES TAG continues to scale globally.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline across assigned territories or industry sectors.

  • Identify and convert new leads via direct outreach, distributor partnerships, and inbound inquiries.

  • Present product demonstrations, proposals, and tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

  • Provide Feedback to Marketing and Commercial teams to align campaigns and messaging with market feedback.

  • Represent CERES TAG at field days, conferences, and customer meetings, both in-person and virtually.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, manage follow-ups, and provide timely sales forecasts.

  • Ensure post-sale engagement and customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Job Requirements

  • The role will require flexibility in working hours, including evenings or weekends, to accommodate time zones and business needs.

  • The position will require extensive travel .

  • Experience working with distributors or channel partners.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and demonstrate hardware/software solutions, CERES TAG is a digital by default workplace 

  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously in the field.

  • Understanding of livestock production systems, genetics, or sustainability will be highly regarded
