We have a permanent position available for an experienced Station Hand.
We are seeking an energetic person with a passion for agriculture.
We are a family-owned commercial wagyu breeding operation based south of Condamine. We operate over several properties, and the role requires travel between those properties.
The role involves, but is not limited to:
Carrying out animal husbandry duties – muster, draft, brand, treat, truck and receive cattle in a quiet and low stress manner.
Educate and handle weaners.
Maintain and replace existing fences.
Maintain and improve watering systems.
Carry out regrowth control.
The applicant must have:
A strong safety focus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong interest in pasture and grazing management.
Excellent livestock handling skills.
Basic mechanical and welding skills.
A willingness to travel between properties.
Fencing experience.
