Conn Enterprises (CE) are looking for a Machinery Operator with good mechanical knowledge to join our team in the Gulf region of the Northern Territory; near Boorooloola.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a variety of work, wants to build skills across machinery and mechanical repairs, and is looking to experience remote NT life.
You will also be willing to do Station Hand duties when required.
Experience is preferred but not essential for the right person. This role suits someone wanting real station and machinery experience, not a mines-style worker.
You will be based in a mobile camp, carrying out works throughout the Gulf country, NT.
Loader operation
Dozer operation (including stick rake work)
Grading station roads and fence lines
Machinery servicing and maintenance
Tank building
Poly pipe laying
Vehicle, car and trailer maintenance and repairs
Station work and stock camp duties when machinery work is slow
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
Fit, energetic and willing to have a go
Willing to learn and take instruction
Clean and respectful of shared spaces
Able to identify machinery issues before they become major problems
Capable of daily machinery servicing (pre-starts, refuelling, greasing)
Willingness to assist with cattle work throughout the year when needed
Camp work: very basic air-conditioned accommodation provided, food supplied (self-catered), Starlink available
Home base: shared accommodation, food and WiFi supplied
