We are looking for a farm / feedlot hand to join our team.
This is a varied and hands-on role which will give you the opportunity to increase your skills across a diverse range of areas.
You will be involved in all aspects of the operation including operating the feed mill, cattle work, cropping, and various tasks including general infrastructure maintenance.

We run a mixed enterprise across livestock, grazing, cereal crops and hay. We have a strong focus on animal health and welfare, and this informs every decision from feed production and farming practices to livestock handling. Our goal is to supply high quality grain-fed beef to both domestic and export markets.
Feed mill operation including preparing and feeding out rations
Commodity handling
Day to day livestock work; drafting, induction, welfare checks, and treatments with an emphasis on animal welfare.
Assisting with all farming duties, including planting, irrigation, harvesting and hay making
General farm maintenance
Be punctual, energetic, honest, and reliable.
Experience in machinery operation.
A current driver’s licence.
Proven stockmanship experience with an understanding of low stress principals, and animal health and welfare.
Competent in general property maintenance.
Willingness and capacity to learn on the job.
Ability to work independently.
Some weekend work may be required.
Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Experience in crops and farming machinery
Experience in feed mill operations
Welding including basic fabrication and repairs
Truck licence
Full time work with an immediate start
