Jumbuck is seeking a Junior Overseer to join the management team at Commonwealth Hill Station, an iconic large-scale Merino operation in South Australia's North West pastoral region.
This is a genuine step-up opportunity for a senior station hand or 2IC ready to grow their career on a well-run, well-resourced property.

Located near Glendambo, approx. 110km from the Stuart Highway
Reporting to the Station Manager, you'll assist with the day-to-day operation of the station, including:
Supporting and leading a crew of 5
Assisting with the livestock program (up to 35,000 Merinos)
Coordinating daily work programs
Ensuring plant, equipment and infrastructure are well maintained
You'll be hands-on, practical, and confident working both independently and as part of a small management team.
Pastoral experience preferred
Ready to step up into leadership or broaden your experience on a larger property
Practical, motivated and solutions-focused
Comfortable with remote and outback living
Ability to ride 2-wheel motor bike a must
Clear career progression within a large, fourth-generation Australian pastoral business
Comfortable, air-conditioned private home (suitable for a couple or small family)
24-hour solar power
All on-station living costs covered (no rent or bills)
