Are you an experienced Machinery Operator seeking a rewarding role in a unique outback environment?

We are offering an excellent opportunity to join our team on a well-established cattle station located in the beautiful Kimberley region.

We are looking for a full-time self-motivated and enthusiastic Machinery Operator to join our friendly team based at Springvale Station. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe daily operation of vehicles, machinery and equipment as required including graders, loaders, trucks, and light vehicles.This is not a FIFO role.

Please note:

  • Must have previous experience operating and maintaining machinery including using a grader and loader.

  • Must hold a current driver’s licence (HC or MC licence highly regarded).

  • Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia.

  • Dogs are not permitted.

Springvale Station in the Kimberley, is located 70km north of Halls Creek on the boundary of the iconic Purnululu National Park. Springvale is a pastoral lease that operates as a breeder block in the east Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • You will conduct routine checks of vehicles, equipment and machinery including notification to management and mechanical team of defects, issues and incidents.

  • You will also show a demonstrated commitment to safe working practices, environmental sustainability and animal welfare.

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • Enthusiasm about a rural working lifestyle that offers challenges and rewards each day.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices and animal welfare.

  • Motivation and be hard-working, willing to positively contribute to the Harvest Road culture.

  • Strong work ethic and enjoy being part of a close-knit and passionate team.

  • Confidence to work independently.

  • Willingness to adhere to the guidance of the station management staff.

  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.

  • Sufficient fitness level if required for the role.

  • Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical assessment.
