We are seeking a skilled and experienced Livestock Person with good knowledge and ability with machinery, to join our Team on our cattle breeding and fattening property.
"Mira" is situated on all-bitumen access on the Comet-Rolleston Road - 45 kms from Rolleston - 117 kms to Emerald - 102 kms to Blackwater. It is 16,000 acres of mostly developed scrub country. "Mira" is a breeder and backgrounding property running 2500 head of cattle.
Experience in stock handling mustering on horses
Competent in the operation and maintenance of a range of agricultural machinery including excavator, telehandler, trucks, tractors, buggies, quads, dozers and the use of tractor GPS
Experience in high standards of animal welfare including low stress stock handling
Experience in fencing, welding and water system
Valid H.C. Drivers Licence
Ability to maintain a high level of honesty and integrity at all times
Competitive wage commensurate with experience
Company provided accommodation - 3 bedroom airconditioned home (unfurnished). Includes power.
