  • We require a Machinery Operator to join the team at Lake Nash Station, NT.

  • This position is primarily a camp out position.

  • Own camp including bed and cooking facilities is supplied.

Lake Nash is a large scale outback cattle station on the banks of the Georgina River in the NT. It is a beautiful location, only three hours to Mt Isa, access to local nurse clinic, variety of opportunities.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely operating grader and/or loader to maintain station roads, airstrips, fence lines and fire breaks; and undertake other earthworks

  • Conduct general property observations while operating machinery.

  • Maintain the grader/loader, including its air conditioning, in a safe, serviceable and roadworthy condition.

  • Carry out servicing in a timely manner

Job Requirements

  • Previous Grader and Loader experience is essential

  • In this position you will be required to work alone

  • You must be reliable, honest and self motivated. As well as neat and tidy, organised and punctual.

  • Drivers Licence

  • The station has approximately 30 staff, with ages varying from 18-60 years of age and a Social Club on the station where we all catch up for drinks and a BBQ every Saturday.
