YardCo Group is growing fast and is seeking experienced yard building contractors to help deliver prefabricated cattle and sheep yard systems across Australia.
This is a hands-on contracting role working on livestock properties, stations and commercial operations, installing high-quality yard systems designed to improve livestock flow, safety and efficiency.
If you are practical, reliable and experienced Contractor installing yards, steel and tools, this is a strong opportunity to secure consistent project work.
This is for a Contract Yard Building Business to help deliver projects, not for individual workers.
Various locations around Australia.
You will be part of installation teams responsible for:
Installing prefabricated livestock yard systems (cattle and sheep)
Assembly of panels, gates, races and handling infrastructure
Working on-site across rural and remote properties
Reading plans and layouts for yard builds
Ensuring builds are completed safely and to specification
Projects range from small upgrades through to large-scale commercial yard builds.
Suitable contractors will:
Have experience building cattle or sheep yards, or similar construction work
Be confident using tools and working with steel components
Be capable of working independently or within a team
Be willing to travel and work on remote sites
Take pride in quality workmanship
Have strong problem-solving ability on site
Experience in livestock operations
Welding or fabrication skills
Machinery operation (telehandler, skid steer or similar)
