We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Grader Operator to join our team at Millungera Station.
Millungera Station, 1.5hrs from Julia Creek and 3hrs from Cloncurry, is a massive, historic 342,000-hectare beef cattle property in northwest Queensland, Australia, known for its large herd (around 50,000) and significant water resources from the Flinders and Saxby Rivers.
After operating for over 160 years, it was recently sold by the Acton family in late 2025 to the Hughes family (Georgina Pastoral Co), marking a significant corporate-scale land transaction in Australia's beef industry.
Safely operating grader and/or loader to maintain station roads, airstrips, fence lines and fire breaks; and undertake other earthworks
Conduct general property observations while operating machinery.
Maintain the grader, including its air conditioning, in a safe, serviceable and roadworthy condition.
Carry out servicing in a timely manner
Previous Grader (and ideally Loader) experience is essential
In this position you will be required to work alone
You must be reliable, honest and self motivated. As well as neat and tidy, organised and punctual.
